You could use a little weight! HATW8 is a weight that attaches to the straps of your hat and holds your hat firmly in place while on a boat, ATV or in a stiff wind. Comfortable and effective, it packs enough punch to distract a determined assailant giving you the option to fight or flee to safety. Keep your hat on with HATW8, use your head and be ready for everything!

Attach HATW8 to any adjustable hat/cap by inserting straps through side slits. Cordura is a high-performance fabric renowned for its durability and resistance to abrasions, tears, and scuffs and has an added water-repellant finish. Zinc-plated steel BBs (ball bearings) fill the HATW8 pouch and give it the weight of approximately three ounces.

I think this is a great idea and it does help with keeping my hat on my head.

Great idea!

I've been taking Tae Kwon Do for over 15 years and have earned a 3rd Degree Black belt. A student of mine brought in a HatW8 and asked what I thought about it as a self defense device. I found it to be very effective and packs a heck of a punch. To test our student's technique we usually have them break wooden boards which are equivalent to breaking a rib or clavicle bone. With the proper follow through and aim, the HatW8 can easily break a wooden board. So, i ordered a HatW8, it arrived on time, a quality product and it keeps my cap in place, just like it is supposed to.

Great for my outdoor painting sessions. No more chasing my sun hat across the field!
